Sounds like a great trip.
You might want to check out flickr.com for your photo hosting/posting needs. You can upload your photos to your flickr account and then press a button (blog this) to automatically create an entry with photo in your blogger blog. I use it all the time for my family site.
Oh, just noticed that you said "send me an email" so I'll do that as well.
